THANK YOU to all the participants of the Color Splash! What a great turn out we had! We would also like to say a big "Thank you!" to Cabela's, Sun Gold Sports, Coke, Color My Party, Depot, Shopko, KMIT, KORN, and Mitchell Fire Department. These businesses all helped us out with donations and services. The event would not have taken place without the help of all of the many volunteers. Fun Run/ Walk will start at 9:30am
Where: Around the Cabela's Loop
Entry fee for ages 14 and up is $25 and will include a t-shirt and sunglasses. These registration forms must be postmarked by Aug. 24.
Children 13 and under may participate for $5, but will not receive a t-shirt or sunglasses.
Participants may register the day of the Color Splash for a fee of $30, but will not receive a t-shirt or sunglasses.
Check-in for all participants will be 8:30am-9:15am. Participants will receive their t-shirts and sunglasses at that time.
What is a Color Run? Runners begin dressed in clean white t-shirts, and pass through a color station once every kilometer. Each color station is associated with a different color, with volunteers blasting the runners with dyed cornstarch out of spray bottles. Runners complete the course covered in the safe and colorful powder.
Suggestion for participants: Bring a blanket or towels along to protect your car seats for the ride home from any loose colored powder.
Refreshments donated by Coca-Cola will be served at the end of the Fun Run/Walk.
